- Requirements and Responsibilities
Requirements may vary according to the intended use and the organization making the determination.
Employers and other responsible organizations are responsible for identifying and communicating their requirements, determining whether an NCPRF course or certification satisfies those requirements, and arranging any other training or steps they require. For workplace use, employers remain responsible for identifying and satisfying any applicable federal OSHA or OSHA-approved State Plan requirements for their workplaces and employees’ assigned duties.
Purchasers and users, including employees, are responsible for reviewing the applicable course description, selecting and completing the course for their intended use, providing accurate information, following applicable employer instructions, and confirming any other requirements before purchase or reliance.
NCPRF does not establish external or third-party requirements or control third-party determinations.
- Training Scope and Outcomes
NCPRF courses provide standardized, self-paced online training on the topics covered. They do not provide individualized medical advice or real-time emergency services. NCPRF does not guarantee any person’s performance or the outcome of an emergency, which depends on circumstances beyond NCPRF’s control.
- Independence and Terms
