The last question on CPR for adult/adolescents did not indicate if the injured was responding or not. Your answer was alert EMS, but if they are unconscious and/or not responding and you did not observe the falling, you would give CPR for 2 minutes and then alert EMS.

It is usually not a good idea to apply ointments to first degree burns, but lotions and creams are alright since they allow the burn to receive oxygen from the air and ointments are occlusive.
