It was a lovely experience being able to renew my CPR online. For many years I would have to sign up and then wait for a class to get enough participants and sometimes that took weeks or I was working and couldn't get into a class. This was by far the best and easiest renewal that I have ever had to do.

As an RN I felt the test was way too short and easy to truly gauge an acceptable knowledge of the whole BLS process. Most healthcare professionals could easily pass it without even going thru the course to refresh their knowledge and skills.

It was a good review and the exam was fair except for the last question that was not clearly stated for the desired answer. With a witnessed Arrest you can initiate the EMS first, then start CPR. For an un-witnessed Arrest you should do CPR for 2 minutes then alert EMS if you are alone.
