The explanations of each issue and treatment was too brief and not clear enough to provide a thorough understanding of an issue. Under "Open Chest Wounds," I was initially instructed to dress the wound. The next stanza said to place high value in not addressing the wound. Multiple times I was told "Stop the bleeding." I didn't understand how. Also, "use universal precautions." What are those? Also, for chest compressions, I was told to "interlock fingers." This doesn't give me a clear enough picture of how to use my hands because there are various ways to interlock my fingers. The course didn't provide enough clear explanations of how to administer first aid.
