I was a lifeguard and water safety instructor for almost a decade and have needed re-cert courses for different jobs since then. It's been about 4 years since I've had to complete a full CPR/AED course in person. I chose to skip to the exam for this to see how I would do before taking the time to sit through the course. The exam took me less than 1 minute to complete. I scored a 90% (mainly because a true/false question didn't provide enough context), therefore passing and obtaining a valid and current CPR certification. I am writing this, because that was far too easy to prove that I can provide CPR. I am confident in my abilities to respond in case of emergency, but also a little scary than old "joe" out there can do this too.

Although the product was emailed directly, customers should check to see whether an online version of CPR is able to be used by employers etc... most will not accept the online certification and require their employees to do a physical class in order to be properly certified. This certification in the eyes of the healthcare world is generally not accepted.

I had a concern about 2 questions---Does rescuer stop CPR when EMS arrives---the answer is NO --not until the EMT/Paramedic actually is in place to take over task and they verbally tell the rescuer they are taking over ...2nd Question--if pt is unconscious /non responsive do you start CPR --NO---you check pulse first and confirm NO pulse before stating---I missed those questions when I should have been scored correct--please review this and make these question non-tricky
