Some of the exam questions were confusing. Such as, unconscious and non-responsive doesn't necessarily mean to start CPR. You should call 911, assess the patients breathing and pulse before beginning CPR. If they have a pulse and are breathing, they may be unresponsive but not need CPR. I feel like some of the questions weren't detailed enough to explain the situation and the appropriate response. Another example, every head injury requires a call to 911... what if it was just a small bruise that only required an ice pack? EMS does not need to be contacted. The head injury isn't described in enough detail to determine whether 911 should or should not be called so the blanket statement that head injuries should always call 911 isn't true or false, it depends on the injury.
