I am pleased at the ease of meeting the requirement of CPR by this online course which was comprehensive in information

This information is very good, but a couple questions on the test could use different wording for a better clarification of what is being asked. One question asked if all head injuries should have 911 called (which the test's answer was supposed to be true) but for minor head injuries, where you only get a bump or a bruise, 911 would not be needed. Also, I'm unclear of the definition of "non-responsive." If a person is "unconscious and non-responsive" I don't think that necessarily means that they're not breathing--because if they're also not breathing, you'd definitely perform CPR; but if they are breathing while being "unconscious and non-responsive" they shouldn't need CPR, unless "non-responsive" automatically also means "not breathing" for which I question this term. Thanks for considering these questions.

Hands on Training should still be mandatory nationwide. Online isn't enough to get someone comfortable enough to take on CPR or First Aid. There can never be a replacement for Hands on Training. Doing it (Hands on training) is always the best way to gain understanding and confidence in Emergency situations. There is no time to try and remember something. It has to come from experience. Doing something will always be better than reading something.

There seem to be several typos in the training. I'd be happy to help review / edit these if desired.

The course is thorough and covers all of the basic information necessary. The course is simple and can be covered at one’s own pace. However, the errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and general typing are horrible. It’s difficult to believe that this course is nationally recognized and certified, especially by healthcare professionals. Finally, the main website advertises the Basic Life Support (BLS) course for $19.95, but after completing the course, the actual amount charged is $19.99.

Question 7 is incorrect. If a patient in unconscious and non-responsive the first thing to check for is breathing. If the person is breathing, CPR should not be administered.
