Standard - First-Aid

Honestly, I thought it was too easy. I work in a field that has required CPR and First Aid training so I have taken it 3-5 times in the last ten years. This one by far was the least comprehensive. I didn't enjoy it, I felt it lacked the depth and quality that would help me feel confident in taking action in emergency situations. To go from a 4-6 hour in person comprehensive immersive experience and test to an online test that took less than an hour and had basic questions was not helpful. Also some of the questions were too basic, they didn't account for the nuances even discussed in the course material ( Example: a patient has a head injury call 911 immediately, true or false. Given the course material it should be false because the severity of the head injury was not noted, thus they should be observed and evaluated to determine the severity of the injury before emergency teams are contacted. This was discussed in the coursework that most head injuries are mild not requiring services. Thus the binary option of true or false is not accurate not helpful, especially in a test setting.

Healthcare - CPR / AED

One concern about the stopping CPR when EMS arrives is misleading. I should not stop CPR when the bus pulls up to the site, I should stop when they tell me they are taking over.
