I thought the course and the way the information within was presented was done very poorly. Information is presented and listed in ways that don't make sense, for example: why is CAB mentioned in the good Samaritan section as though we should be familiar with it in that section prior to explaining what C-A-B Stands for in the next section? Why is information on treating overdoses/opioid poisoning split between the CPR section and the Poisoning section? There is information appears in sections that don't relate to it, such as heatstroke and frostbite in the choking section. Poor sentence structure and incorrect grammar/punctuation made certain instructions difficult to understand, while other times terms are information are used and not explained. One such example is in the section on open chest wounds the following information appears directly after instructions on how to dress chest wounds: "On victim's with Open Chest Wounds a higher value is placed on the avoidance of providing dressings. The life-threatening risk is to cause tension pneumothorax inadvertently when compared with other risks associated with an Open Chest Wound." As a layman it seems to contradict the information in the previous paragraph, and doesn't give me any understanding of when you dress a chest wound versus when you don't. Other times, there are contradictions within a single sentence or instruction, for example: "Clean the wound thoroughly with water and soap (stay clear of the injury itself)"; aren't the wound you're cleaning and the injury the same thing? Very confusing phrashing. Additionally total lack of instructional diagrams, and instructional videos with no sound or narration are very unhelpful for visual/auditory learners. I can imagine many individuals who would struggle to retain the knowledge presented, however the quiz at the end is so easy and basic they will still be able to obtain their cards. I'm not sure how that is beneficial.

This was a very helpful refresher with clear, concise information. There were a couple of places where a little more explanation would have been helpful.
