I have been in healthcare 35+ years with 9 1/2 years as an EMT. This course had me questioning many of the things in it. There were things tossed in without any pretext. I was reading about one first aid technique and suddenly I was reading something completely unrelated. Some things in this should be updated. Example: Teaching to perform chest compressions to the song "Staying Alive" is going to mean absolutely nothing to younger generation that has no idea that song even exists. I don't know how to really explain all my thoughts on this course but I would seriously have it reviewed and rewritten.
