Standard - CPR / AED
I found the practice exam generally clear and useful. However, I would recommend revising Question 1: “If a patient undergoes a head injury you should call 911 immediately.” I selected “False” because the course material appears to qualify that instruction. In the Head Injuries section, it states that 911 should be called immediately when certain serious signs or symptoms are present, such as a seizure, slurred speech, unequal pupils, loss of balance, confusion, severe headache, or severe bleeding. As written, the exam question suggests that every head injury automatically requires an immediate 911 call, which is broader than the wording in the instructional material. Because the correct answer was scored as “True,” I found the question unnecessarily ambiguous. A clearer version might be: “A serious head injury, particularly one involving concerning neurological symptoms, may require an immediate call to 911.” This was the only question I answered incorrectly, and the issue seemed to stem more from the wording of the question than from a misunderstanding of the course content. I would encourage reviewing the wording so that the exam more closely reflects the distinctions presented in the instructional material.

My coworker mentioned it to me when she knew I needed my CPR renewal. I liked the fact, as a health care worker I didn't have to do the added manikin participation. Because once you've done CPR on a real person you don't forget.

Very comprehensive and easy to understand course! The only thing that was an issue is that one of the images on the AED module is backwards. It seems that the Right and Left is flipped in the image showing where to place pads. Other than that, I had no problems!
