One of my managers at work said I could do a CPR course on-line. I googled and found this website with the AHA, for healthcare providers. I have taken hands-on CPR courses many times and this one was very detailed and professional, covering everything it should, also with videos.

If I could give this CPR program a zero, I would. As a long standing BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS and Trauma certified RN and this program is worthless. The first CPR class I ever took for non-healthcare individuals, prior to working in the healthcare field provided more information and thoroughness than this program and it was so basic. This company only wants to get paid but doesn't really care if you learn the information or know how to correctly save a life. This is dispicible! Even though I have an active BLS and PALS certificate from work, my foster agency required this particular course because it mentioned "first aid" in the title. I work at a level 1 trauma hospital but aparently my work was not what they wanted for government "paperwork". Go figure! Believe me, all of the BLS courses I have taken provide first aid and much more than this one. This course just listed it in the title so aparently that "counts" for something. Do yourself a favor and take a class with a live instructor if you really actually want to save a life or perform first aid!
