Easy, self explanatory but there is always time to check for a pulse if you are CPR certified or in a work environment where you need to know these things, you need to know a pulse before just preforming CPR on anyone because depending on the heart beat it can indicate lots of different things. If you do not know where a pulse is I suppose what it said was okay but it is not hard to learn and everyone should check for a pulse first.

explanations did not use plain language, some of the text descriptions were unclear, images could be more informative, the training did not utilize memory aids or other ways to ensure that information is retained.
