this is great for a recert for someone who has had years and years of CPR and first aid training. It isn't appropriate for someone who is taking this for the first time (they should have an in-person class with lots of opportunities to practice the skills). There were several typos (apostrophes on plural nouns) One thing that was weird was that there was very casual language and then suddenly there would be a very medical/advanced term or phrase. For instance, in the hypoglycemia section it says to give a food with a sugar such as fructose, sucrose, or oligonucleotides. WHAT? I googled oligonucleotides and it's a single strand of created DNA. It is maybe something researchers or doctors use, but it doens't appear to be something that a first responder has anything to do with. I couldn't find any results for "foods with oligonucleotides." I don't know what the CPR Foundation was trying to teach me with the inclusion of that word.
