This course was filled with the important information that a layperson needs to perform CPR, administer first aid for a variety of emergency needs, and use an AED. Having this knowledge gives me the confidence to react to a number of emergency situations until the EMS responders arrive or until the injured person can be taken to the hospital or urgent care facility for further treatment.
