It's a good an easy way to get BLS, First Aid or CPR certificate. I asked my college if they accepted this type of certificate and they said yes. I do have medical background and this is simply a formality for my college, but is always wise to ask your employer or authority in charge if they accept this type of certification depending on your own context.
