I did well on the exam because I am a lifeguard that was getting recertified in BLS. I think having mandatory videos that students have to watch before proceeding would be more effective than just words on a page.

I believe I have renewed my certification here before, though I remember watching videos. As a RENEWAL, this is good enough to refresh my memory, but there are many typos, unclear phrases and weak instructions on both the CPR and First Aid portions. Enough so, I was beginning to doubt the accuracy of the information. Please do a clean-up of your presentation material on the BLS course. Using terms like "fundus" and saying to "move the uterus" for CPR on pregnant women seems unclear and then to describe common things like a bruise seems random. Or allowing typos describing a cardiac arrest as the "base of the base heart" looks lazy and unprofessional (or provided by a non-English speaking translator).
