Standard - CPR / AED
The process was simple and easy. The instructions/writing in the course were a bit confusing and contradictory. It was not clear whether we should do compression with breathing, or hands-only compression, as a default. Also, the course instructed us to use an AED, but then said that actually it should only be used by people with medical training. The Covid recommendations were, of course, nonsensical. How are we meant to give breaths while wearing a mask or face shield? It was as if you just copy-pasted the regulations for protective equipment for first responders without worrying about whether they were workable in context. So I had to wade through all these contradictions to get some sense of what is the best procedure.
