Basic Life Support - BLS
There is some incorrect information about spinal injuries listed. I am a practicing Neurosurgery Physician Assistant and a cervical collar in the setting of a neck injury is imperative until it is proven that it is not needed. This is common practice. If not used, depending on the injury, permanent paralysis could be caused. This information should be corrected or at least sources provided to support a departure from accepted practice.
