The information included was pretty good overall, but there were several errors throughout the training (grammatical, word choice, and missing words). One example of the incorrect word choice was using “assumption” in the phrase “Drug overdose is a dose larger than the recommended assumption,” instead of using the word “consumption.” Additionally, there were several medical terms and acronyms that were used without explanation/definition; consequently, I had to research them before I could understand the content. Some examples of these words and acronyms are the AP diameter of the chest, OPIM, stoma, tension pneumothorax, and myocardial infarction. Lastly, there wasn’t any explanation as to why the CAB method should be applied versus the ABC method for CPR; the only thing that was mentioned is that the CAB method should be employed as opposed to the ABC method for CPR.
