Training materials are poorly-written, disorganized, and sometimes confusing. They include a few medical terms and abbreviations that were unfamiliar and not explained. Materials sometimes seemed more like a brief refresher or "notes" than a detailed, step-by-step guide for learning CPR and first-aid.
