Thank you for your course and I am happy to say I passed. Although it was a 70, which I believe 2 of the 3 questions I had gotten wrong are misconstrued. You ask in question 4) Should you still perform CPR when or as EMS arrives? T/F. I had answered true because as stated in question 5) For adults, you should NEVER: (answer) ALL OF THE ABOVE (which I got right), however one of those states: ALLOW INTERRUPTION DURING COMPRESSIONS. It is important not to interrupt chest compressions or STOP CPR prematurely to check for signs of life - if in doubt, continue full CPR UNTIL HELP ARRIVES. It is unlikely you will do harm if you give chest compressions to someone with a beating heart. Correct??? Now in question 7) If you witness a child collapse, you should: ACTIVATE EMS OR BEGIN CPR. I had chosen Begin CPR. You should begin CPR when someone (at any age) collapses especially if there is a second rescuer THEN they can activate EMS. However, what if you are the ONLY rescuer and don't have time because they are not breathing to activate EMS or you don't have an AED to retrieve..... YOUR ONLY CHOICE IS CPR..... CORRECT??? I am not bringing this up so my score is higher, but because I am thinking logically as a mother, healthcare worker and someone who would be the first to help in any situation. In this day and age, how many people have AED'S OR EVEN KNOW CPR, and sadly to say; would even help because they would rather film the incident before calling 911. Please let me know if I am wrong to have brought these scenarios up pertaining to the above questions. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kimberly Jones
