It was easy to use. There are 2 test questions that should be reviewed. The arrival of EMS is not a reason to stop CPR. CPR should not be stopped until another individual is at the patient's side ready to assume care with compressions or breaths (not in the parking lot or at the front door or even standing next to the patient unloading their bag). Also, a person can be unresponsive and not be in need of CPR. CPR should only be started if the patient has no pulse or the pulse is so weak and thready the assessor believes it incompatible with life. If the patient has a strong pulse but no respirations, the responder begins breaths only not compressions. If the patient is unresponsive but has strong pulse and regular spontaneous breathing, then ems should be notified, and patient should be monitored closely for the loss of either breathing or circulation.
